Ulm Enterprise: AURO in India

Ulm Enterprise was started in 2004 as an import and export company for selling bioproducts, energy saving devices and alternate technology transfer. The company is still young but the owner has a long professional career in organic farming and trade in bioproducts, and the Director has practiced Bio-Architecture besides promoting organic farming and alternate technology in India for 25 years. He has developed bioproducts, worked as consultants for foreign companies and has been a founder of several companies in alternate technology. As a Bio-Architect he is also a supporter of the green building movement.

Auro natural paints are so far the only paint company in the world which is CO2 certified. These paints do not produce VOCs(Volatile organic compounds). Practical experience and certification from other Asian regions confirm durability and quality of the paints in tropical conditions. With the natural paint from Auro Germany, Ulm Enterprise offers a hundred percent natural paint made from plants and minerals, for the first time in India.

This fills a lacuna that exists in the green building movement in India. Auro natural paints will be offered through well qualified representatives through out India.

The AURO company

Since 1983, Auro acts as the pioneer of the natural paint branch and has been successfully expanding its market presence since then. Certified products, developed by specialized technicians, meet highest technical standards for all fields of application, e.g. construction, renovation, care and maintenance.

Auro guarantees well-engineered high-quality products, based on consistently ecological and clean raw materials. This is confirmed by test results published in Germany’s most renowned consumer magazines, one example being the “test winner” result for Auro’s Woodstain No. 160 (test May 2006).

In order to secure the highest possible product transparency for our customers, the products are self-produced in Auro’s factory locations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Consumers and professional painters in Europe, as well as in Asia and the USA, highly appreciate Auro’s pollutant-free quality products.

In Germany, Auro distributes through a net of 700 retailers and professional painters who are advised by 11 regional representatives. Worldwide distribution is carried out by importers in  Europe, Asia and the USA, the export share being 45% of total sales.
